USA: Trump campaign website flooded with donations after conviction

Donald Trump’s campaign earmark for financial donations stalled shortly after the former president was convicted in the New York trial over payments to porn actress Stormy Daniels. This was reported by the US media, according to which the Trump campaign attributed the technical problem to the sudden and massive influx of donations from the former president’s supporters. “American citizens recognize that this is a show trial mounted by corrupt (President) Joe Biden,” reads a message posted on X (formerly Twitter) by the former president’s campaign. “So many Americans were pressured into donating to President Trump’s campaign that WinRed pages crashed. We are working to get the website back online as soon as possible.”

The former president of the United States, Donald Trump, was found guilty yesterday of all 34 counts of forgery of corporate documents for which he was indicted in relation to payments sent to porn actress Stormy Daniels, during the 2016 election campaign. The jury’s verdict was read in court in Trump’s presence at the end of the deliberations that began in the morning.
